Approving a Submitted Territory (Manager)

A sales manager can review and approve or reject a submitted territory.

To approve or reject a territory

From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Incentive Compensation Sales Hierarchies > Territory Approval.
In the Territories list, select the submitted territory.

A recently created territory has a status of In Progress.

In the territory record, change the value in the Status field, choosing Approved or Rejected from the drop-down list.

The Territories list shows the status change. A new territory becomes active only when it is approved.
