Administrator Procedures


The following list shows tasks administrators typically perform to manage MedEd events. The administrator may be the product manager who is responsible for using Siebel MedEd to plan a variety of events that feature the new product. These tasks are typically performed in the following order:

  1. Establish funds for a MedEd plan. For more information, see Establishing Funds for MedEd Plans.
  2. Create a MedEd master plan. For more information, see Creating Master MedEd Plans.
  3. Create a MedEd activity template. For more information, see Creating a MedEd Activity Template.
  4. Add literature items to the application. For more information, see Administering MedEd Literature.
  5. Designate contacts as MedEd speakers. For more information, see Designating MedEd Event Speakers.
