Business Scenario for Opportunity Management

This scenario provides an example of a process performed by an engagement manager for opportunity management. Your company may follow a different process according to its business requirements.

The engagement manager at a large professional services company receives a call from a prospective customer. The prospective customer is interested in having the engagement manager's team work on an opportunity. The engagement manager enters information about the opportunity into Siebel Professional Services Automation and associates it with the project in question. She then associates the project with the customer's account, which already exists in her Siebel application.
