Setting the Logging Level of the Smart Answer Log File

Setting the logging level to the maximum number of 5 will allow more descriptions in the Smart Answer log file. This setting allows you to change the monitoring of the Smart Answer log file to more easily determine if categorization is taking place. This is useful when debugging, but will increase the size of your log file.

To set the logging level of the Smart Answer log file

  1. Navigate to Site Map > Server Administration.
  2. Click the Server Event Configuration tab, then Query for CatMgr.
  3. Enter a value of 5 in the log level field.
  4. You must stop and restart the Siebel server for your changes to take effect.
