Enabling Component Groups

After installing the Siebel Server, make sure the Communications Management and Workflow Management component groups are enabled. This is a one-time-only process.

To enable component groups

From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Server Administration > Enterprise Configuration.

The Enterprise Component Groups screen appears.

In the Enterprise Component Group list, verify that the Workflow Management and Communications Management component groups are enabled. If a component group is not enabled, do the following:
Select the record.
Click the menu button and choose Enable Component Group.

The Enable State field should now display Enabled.

In the Enterprise Component Groups list, verify that the Enable State of all of the enterprise components is Active.
