Bidding Scenario for AutobidToReservePrice = FALSE

This example uses the same auction as the eAuc:AutobidToReservePrice = TRUE example. Here, the auction is English, using eAuc:AutobidToReservePrice = FALSE.

The bidding for this auction is shown in the following tables ordered by first bid, second bid, third bid, and so on. The first part of Table 33 shows the user's bid; the second part of the table shows the result of that bid.

Bid Summary: Mary enters a Maximum Bid Amount of $400. Even though her Max Bid amount exceeds the reserve amount of $300, her bid is accepted at the auction start price of $200. The bid is not raised to the reserve price.

Table 34 lists the results from the second bid in the auction.

Bid Summary: Don enters Max Bid Amount of $250. Mary's Maximum Bid Amount raises her bid to meet Don's $250 bid. Note that the timestamp option used in this auction, TSO1, gives Mary the bidding advantage by retaining her winning bid's timestamp and allowing her to meet, rather than beat, Don's bid amount.

Auction Results Summary: Mary wins the auction at $250, but because she has not met the lister's reserve price, she will not be invoiced when the auction closes.
