= FALSEThis auction is a multiple-quantity auction for 10 items. The minimum quantity of items the lister will sell is one. The starting bid is set at $100, the bid increment is set at $7, and the bid is not sealed.
The bidding for this auction is shown in the following tables ordered by first bid, second bid, third bid, and so on. The first part of Table 35 shows the user's bid; the second part of the table shows the result of that bid.
Bid Summary: Mary places a Max Bid Amount of $1999 for one item. Her bid is not accepted because it is not an exact increment of $7 from the starting bid.
Table 36 lists the results from the second bid in the auction.
Bid Summary: Don's Max Bid Amount of $1500 is an exact increment of $7 from the starting bid amount and is accepted. The calculation is as follows:
$1500 - $100=$1400 where
- $1500 = bid amount
- $100 = starting bid amount
- $1400 = an exact increment of the Bid Increment
Don's bid is set at the auction's starting price of $100 for one item.
Table 37 lists the results from the third bid in the auction.
Bid Summary: Mary, a second AutoBid bidder, enters a new Max Bid Amount of $1990. This time it is an exact increment of $7 from the starting bid, and the bid is accepted. Mary wins the two items she requested.
Auction Results Summary: Mary wins two items after placing an AutoBid amount that is an exact increment of $7 from the starting bid. She wins her two items at $100, while Don wins one item at $100.
