Creating a New Auction

As an auction lister, you can post items for sale and accept bids on those items. This kind of auction is also called a third-party auction. As a lister, you can create and edit your own items in the catalog, but you cannot edit or create auctions from the items of others. If you are not registered as an auction lister, see Registering with an Auction Site.

You can also create Requests for Quotes (RFQs) for items or services that you would like to purchase as a buyer. An RFQ is a type of Reverse auction in which the lowest bid wins the item. The process for creating an RFQ is the same as for an auction.
