Setting Up Siebel Self-Service Wireless


Siebel Self-Service Wireless extends the functionality of Siebel eService. It allows customers to use browser-enabled wireless devices to receive the same self-service benefits available with Siebel eService. Combined with Siebel Wireless Messaging, Siebel Self-Service Wireless allows organizations to send customers real-time service alerts using a variety of means, including SMS, TAP, Email, FLEX, and other text messages.

Siebel Self-Service Wireless is consistent with other Siebel applications. It uses the same set of business objects, the same development toolset, and the same logical data model to operate on browser-enabled wireless devices.
