Sending Batches

Sending batches transfers them to a central server and removes them. Once you begin sending batches, you cannot cancel, so review, edit, and index them first. Note the following:

Send completed batches using either of the following procedures.

Sending the Current Batch From the Review/Index Screen

  1. Click the Send button on the toolbar.

    The Client Screen is displayed.

  2. Confirm sending the batch.

The application begins uploading the selected batch to the server. While the file is being sent, the cursor changes to an hourglass and the progress bar moves to the end.

  3. View batch send results.

After the batch upload is complete, the Batch Send Results Screen is displayed. Its table lists all batches selected for sending. If needed for troubleshooting purposes, click Copy to Clipboard to copy the selected batch results to the clipboard for pasting into another application.

Sending Selected Batches From the Client Screen

  1. Select the batches to be sent.

If needed, click the Scan Profile field to select a new profile. To select multiple batches, hold down the Ctrl or Shift key and click.

  2. Click the Send button. Confirm sending the batches.

The application begins uploading the selected batches to the server. While one or more files are being sent, the cursor changes to an hourglass and the blue progress bar at the bottom of the screen moves to the end.

  3. View batch send results.

After the batch upload is complete, the Batch Send Results Screen is displayed. Its table lists all batches selected for sending. Select a batch to view its details in the Description field. If needed for troubleshooting purposes, click Copy to Clipboard to copy the selected batch results to the clipboard for pasting into another application.
