Publishing a WSDL Resource

WSDL publishing automates the WSDL to UDDI mapping specification established by the UDDI Technical Committee at OASIS. A WSDL is taken from a URL and its content is parsed. During parsing the namespaces and underlying elements are checked. WSDL ports get published to UDDI binding templates. WSDL bindings and portTypes elements get automatically mapped to UDDI tModels.

To Publish a WSDL

  1. If you have not already done so, Log in to your account.

  2. Click the Publish tab in the top left corner of the console.

  3. Click the WSDL menu item. This loads the Publish WSDL resource page.

  4. If you know or have a copy of the Key for the Business under which this Service will be published, enter it in the Business key edit field. Otherwise click the Select Business Key button to retrieve it.

  5. Enter the complete URL to the WSDL in the WSDL location edit field

  6. Click the Publish button. The service will be published as a UDDI business service record. Any ports defined in the WSDL will be published in a binding template record. The bindings and portTypes defined in the WSDL will be published as tModels.
