Use this manual if you are already using OracleAS Guard for disaster protection of a 10.1.x Oracle Application Server deployment.
If you are planning a new 10.1.x Oracle Application Server deployment that requires disaster protection, Oracle recommends using disk replication to provide disaster protection for the deployment, as described in the Oracle Application Server Disaster Recovery Guide in the Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.3 documentation library on Oracle Technology Network.
