Requirements for Employee Applications

The following lists the requirements for employee applications. For an explanation of employee applications, see Deployment Modes for Siebel Business Applications.

Note the following information about browser support:

For information about the recommended settings for the Siebel Web Client, see Siebel System Administration Guide on the Siebel Bookshelf on Oracle Technology Network (OTN).

For each supported browser you must install Oracle Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.4.2 or later. For more information about the high-interactivity client, see Siebel Deployment Planning Guide on the Siebel Bookshelf on Oracle Technology Network (OTN).

NOTE: Tabbed browsing is supported with Siebel applications for one active session. Multiple Web pages may be opened using tabbed browsing, but only one tab can have an active connection to a Siebel application at any time.

If you encounter any issues while implementing or upgrading, see the Siebel Bookshelf on Oracle Technology Network (OTN).
