Setting Up Syncmode in the Application Configuration File

Syncmode is the attribute in the application file that allows a data set to run in preprocessed mode. When the Syncmode attribute of the <dataset> element is set to "preprocessed" and a disconnected user initiates synchronization, the Oracle BI Server looks for existing data files to download and only runs the sourcing query if no preprocessed files exist. For more information about Syncmode, see Configuration File Reference.
