About Installer Prompts in the UNIX Installation Script

This section lists the series of prompts you must respond to for each setup option type you choose.

Siebel Analytics Stand-Alone-Everything

Siebel Analytics Stand-Alone-Partial Installations

NOTE:  If you already have installed one or more Siebel Analytics components, running the installer script again to install additional components causes a warning message to be displayed, stating that you may continue to install features, but that reinstalling may overwrite any patches that you have installed.

• Siebel Analytics Server only

  Service Start Type	Choose whether these Siebel Analytics Services will start automatically at machine startup time, or will need to be started manually: Analytics Server (default is Automatic) Analytics Scheduler (default is Manual) Analytics Cluster (default is Manual) Analytics Web (default is Automatic) Click Next.	If Server Service starts automatically, the machine boot time will increase.
  Analytics Cluster Server Account Name	Accept the default (LocalSystem), or specify the account name (in the format domain\user) and the password. Click Next.

Siebel Analytics Applications-Everything

NOTE:  If you have purchased a Siebel Analytics application, the Siebel Analytics repository (.rpd) file will be generated based on the license keys for that application. See Siebel Analytical Applications Metadata for more information about application licensing.
