Creating Databases and Tables for the Relational Database
The following procedures describe how to create a database and tables for these relational databases:
To create a database and tables for Microsoft SQL Server
- Create a database named S_NQ_SCHED using Enterprise Manager. Make sure that you have enough free disk space to accommodate Siebel Analytics Tables (a minimum of 500 MB for Siebel Analytics applications).
- Using S_NQ_SCHED as the current database, use Query Analyzer to open the file SAJOBS.MSSQL.sql and execute it to create the Siebel Analytics Scheduler tables.
- Open the file SAACCT.MSSQL.sql and execute it to create the Accounting table.
To create a database and tables for Oracle
- Proceed in one of the two following ways:
- Provide your own password to the user S_NQ_SCHED.
- Using the Oracle client configuration tool, create an Oracle Service to the current S_NQ_SCHED database with this user ID and password.
- Using the SQL Worksheet, open the file SAJOBS.Oracle.sql and execute it to create Siebel Analytics Scheduler tables.
- Open the file SAACCT.Oracle.sql and execute it to create the Accounting table.
