Siebel Analytics has two main product configurations:

• Stand-Alone (Siebel Analytics Server)

  The stand-alone configuration involves the Siebel Analytics platform only (Siebel Analytics Server and Web Server). You must develop your own analytics applications and configure them to connect to legacy data warehouses or other data sources.

• Integrated (Siebel Analytics applications)

  You can configure Siebel Analytics applications to run with Siebel operational applications, using the Siebel Data Warehouse or prebuilt (and sometimes specialized) data warehouses.

Siebel Analytics Installation and Configuration Guide provides information on installing and configuring all components of Siebel Analytics, both stand-alone and integrated configurations.

NOTE:  This version of the guide (version 7.7) applies to the 7.7 release of Siebel Analytics and Siebel Data Warehouse. It does not apply to any previous releases. Siebel Analytics 7.7 is compatible with Siebel 7.5 operational applications.
