Creating the Disconnected Analytics Repository

Create the disconnected repository using the table structure defined in Design the Table Schema for the Disconnected Analytics Application.

An administrator creates a disconnected repository for each application such as sales, based on your business requirements. The disconnected repository is conceptually a pass-through repository because it is derived from the Siebel Analytics repository. The logical data extracted from the Siebel Analytics Server is already aggregated and transformed from the Siebel Analytics physical data.

NOTE:  It is recommended that you do not make the disconnected repository complicated or large (more than 20 MB). This can affect the performance of the client environment.

For development purposes, the disconnected repository should be set up and tested on a laptop that mirrors the mobile user's environment as closely as possible.

To create a disconnected repository, perform the following tasks:
