Viewing Sales Prospects

When you search for sales recommendations, Sales Prospector provides extensive detail on the potential clients it recommends.

To view prospect data

  • On either the graph or the table, click the prospect whose information you want to view. The following information is displayed.

    Field

    Description

    Evaluated Attributes

    This is general information about the customer, for example, the sector in which the customer is based, the location, the headquarters, and so on. This data is imported into the application using CSV files.

    Products

    This is the list of products that the customer has already bought, the quantity of products, and so on.

    Purchases History

    This graph provides information about the customer's previous purchases.

    Likely References

    This is a list of customers who have bought similar products. These customers can serve as potential references, and speak favorably about your products to the companies recommended to you by Sales Prospector. The list of customers is sorted in the following order:

    • Customers owned by the current user.
      • Customers that have similar purchasing patterns and attributes (that own the product), sorted by name.
      • Customers that have either similar purchasing patterns or similar attributes, but not both (that own the product), sorted by name.
      • Customers that are not similar (that own the product), sorted by name.
    • Customers not owned by the current user.
      • Customers that have similar purchasing patterns and attributes (that own the product), sorted by name.
      • Customers that have either similar purchasing patterns or similar attributes, but not both (that own the product), sorted by name.
      • Customers that are not similar (that own the product), sorted by name.

        If you want to contact the account manager, click on the Account Manager's name to open a new email message to that person.

NOTE: Only users with administrative privileges can upload, or import customer data. For more information on importing customer data, contact your Oracle sales representative to request assistance from Oracle's Professional Services.
