Troubleshooting the Prediction Model Generation


This topic provides guidelines for resolving problems in prediction model generation. To resolve a problem, look for it in the list of symptoms or error messages in Table 5 and then review the solution.

There is not enough data for Oracle Sales Prospector to build a prediction model.

ORA-40104: invalid training data for model build

Either the enterprise space ID used does not exist or the enterprise space is populated with insufficient or invalid data.

  • Make sure that a valid enterprise space ID is passed to the build models procedure.
  • Check that sufficient data is loaded for the enterprise space.

The training data provided in the reported table is unsuitable for the prediction model build, either because it is empty, has unsuitable data, or the schema of the table does not match the input specifications.

Inspect the training data and correct the contents and schema as appropriate.
