Admin Center Overview

Admin Center is the management and configuration component of AquaLogic® BPM Enterprise.

With Admin Center, system administrators can do the following:

Admin Center is also the application from which you can run the Configuration Wizard. This wizard automates a number of configuration tasks, and is described separately.

Admin Center Editions

AquaLogic BPM Enterprise is available in the following editions:


Each of these editions has specific configuration requirements and options. Therefore, there is a specific edition of Admin Center for each, so you do not need to worry about options that do not apply to your particular edition. The following topics describe the characteristics of each edition:


System Requirements

In the Windows and Linux distributions of all editions, the JDK is included in the installation, as is the case with Studio. All editions for all platforms also include the appropriate certified JDBC drivers each supported database provider. The databases supported by AquaLogic BPM 6.0 are:
  • IBM DB2 8.x and 9.x
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005
  • Oracle 9.2 and 10.0

Configuration Wizard

All editions of ALBPM Enterprise include the Configuration Wizard, a utility which simplifies configuration tasks. The wizard performs the configuration tasks required by each edition.
