The purpose of the Configuration Wizard is to provide a simple way to configure AquaLogic® BPM Enterprise under the most common environments.
The Configuration Wizard runs when you add a directory in the Directory tab of the Admin Center Configuration dialog box. The Configuration Wizard can also be run directly from the AquaLogic BPM Enterprise installer at the end of the installation.
For the standalone and WebLogic editions, the Configuration Wizard may be able to configure everything, including the creation of the WebLogic domain.
In many cases, the ALBPM administrator will not have all the required permissions to configure the databases used by the ALBPM process execution engine and directory services. In such a situation the Configuration Wizard can still save a lot of time, by preparing database scripts which can be handed over to your database administrator.
