Licensing
To use the AquaLogic Service Bus or WebLogic Server software, you must have a valid license file installed on your system. BEA products use an XML-format file called
license.bea, which is created in the
BEA Home directory by the installation program and is used for all the BEA products
installed in that directory. At run time, your BEA software checks this file to determine which
product components you are authorized to use.
Note the following about the
license.bea file when you install either
AquaLogic Service Bus or WebLogic Server:
In an initial installation, a non-expiring development
license.bea file is created in the BEA
Home directory, allowing you to start using the software immediately. The development license is a full
license, enabling all component features of the installed product.
If a license.bea file
already exists in the BEA Home directory in which you are performing an installation, the installation
program automatically adds the development license included with your product distribution to this
existing license.bea file.

AquaLogic Service Bus 2.1 License Package Offerings
The production license that is available for AquaLogic Service Bus 2.1 is described in the

WebLogic Express differs from WebLogic Server in that WebLogic Express does not provide Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), Java Message Services (JMS), J2EE CA, or the two-phase commit protocol for transactions. WebLogic Express Premium Edition includes premium clustering support. |

WebLogic Server ISV Edition is intended for use with ISV applications and is not intended for custom application development by ISV customers. |

BEA JRockit 5.0 JDK License Package Offerings
BEA JRockit 5.0 R26 JDK includes the BEA JRockit Mission Control tools. To use the included Mission Control tools, you need to download a suitable license.
The licenses that are available for BEA JRockit Mission Control are described in the following table. You can download a developer license from the BEA dev2dev Web site at http://dev2dev.bea.com/jrockit/tools.html.
