Windows XP on x86 with 8.1 SP5

BEA also supports WebLogic Integration 8.5 SP5 on this configuration.

Operating System Version and Patches

Windows XP Service Pack 1 and higher (32-bit)

Supported for the design, development, and verification of applications; it is not supported for production server deployment.

Chip Architecture and Minimum Processor Speed

Xeon, Pentium II or higher, x86, and compatible chip architectures (400 MHz)

SDK

BEA JRockit 1.4.2_08 SDK

WebLogic Platform 8.1 SP5 supports BEA JRockit 1.4.2_08 SDK and all later 1.4.2 releases of JRockit.

Sun Java 2 SDK 1.4.2_08 with Java HotSpotTM Client VM

WebLogic Platform 8.1 SP5 supports Sun Java 2 SDK 1.4.2_08 and all later service packs of 1.4.2.

Design and Development Tools

Supports the WebLogic Integration Format Builder and WebLogic Workshop IDE, with extensions for WebLogic Integration and WebLogic Portal. Servers started from the WebLogic Workshop IDE can be configured to use either the BEA JRockit SDK or the Sun Java 2 SDK.
