Administration Console Online Help
connection retry properties
The source and target
destinations for a messaging bridge are not always available. A
messaging bridge must be able to reconnect to the destination at some
connection retry properties:
- If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
left pane of the console, expand Services >
Messaging and select Bridges.
On the Summary of Messaging Bridges page,
select the instance you want to configure.
If the table is empty, refer to Create messaging
Configuration > Connection Retry tab, update
Minimum Delay -- Amount of time a
messaging bridge waits before it tries to reconnect to the source
or target destination after a failure.
Incremental Delay -- Amount of time a
messaging bridge waits between one failed reconnection attempt and
the next retry.
Maximum Delay -- The longest amount of
time a messaging bridge waits between one failed reconnection
attempt and the next retry.
For more information about the connection retry properties, see
- To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
