After you create a queue,
you can define message delivery override values that can override those
specified by a message producer.
To configure message delivery overrides for a queue:
- If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).

Priority Override, enter the priority
assigned to all messages that arrive at the queue.
Time To Live Override, enter the
time-to-live assigned to all messages that arrive at the
Time To Deliver Override, enter the
delivery delay, either in milliseconds or as a schedule, between
when a message is produced and when it is made visible on its
Delivery Mode Override, select the delivery
mode (Persistent, Non-Persistent, or No-Delivery) assigned to all
messages that arrive at the queue.

- To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
