Configure candidate servers
for Transaction Recovery Service migration
To enable migration of the
Transaction Recovery Service from one server in a cluster to another
server in the cluster, you must specify the list of candidate server
that have access to the current server's transaction log files (stored
in the default WebLogic store). For more information about migrating the
Transaction Recovery Service, see Transaction
Recovery After a Server Fails.
To configure the list of candidate servers for Transaction Recovery
If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
In the Domain Structure tree, expand
Environment, then select
Select the cluster that contains the server you want to
Configuration > Servers tab and then select
the server you want to modify.
Configuration > Migration tab.
Candidate Servers, select the servers you want to use as a
Transaction Recovery Service backup and move them to the

Save to save your changes.
To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes. Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
