Deleting a store-and-forward
(SAF) agent permanently removes it from the domain's configuration.
To delete a store-and-forward agent:
- If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
In the left pane of
the console, expand Services > Messaging and
select Store-and-Forward Agents.
Store-and-Forward Agents page, select the
agent that you want to delete.
Delete and confirm the deletion.
- To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
- Pending messages are stored in the associated persistent store and
can not be forwarded until the SAF agent is restored or the messages
are moved to another store with a configured SAF agent.
- The deleted SAF agent is unreachable and any producers that were
in conversation with the SAF agent receive an error message.
