Accessibility Guide for Siebel Business Applications > Using Accessibility Features >
Siebel Business Applications have a preconfigured session timeout. By default, the timeout value is set to 900 seconds (15 minutes) of detectable user inactivity, known as the session timeout period. Before the session timeout period elapses, a warning dialog box with the following text appears:
Your session is going to expire. Please click OK to extend the session. The session will be extended by 15 minutes 0 seconds.Time remaining before timeout:
<MM> minutes <SS> seconds
Note the following options:
- If you click OK, then the session timer resets to zero, and it is activated again only when another timeout warning period elapses.
- If you do not respond, then the session terminates when the session timeout period elapses.
Your Siebel administrator can change session timeouts in your environment. For information about configuring session timeout values, see Configuring Session Timeouts.
