Technical Support for Business Rules
You receive Haley Systems Inc. authoring and run-time software as part of Oracle's Siebel Tools installation. Besides creating and deploying HaleyAuthority rules for Siebel objects, you can also use HaleyAuthority to create and deploy rules for other applications.
For help with business rules, create a service request (SR) on OracleMetaLink 3. Alternatively, you can phone Global Customer Support directly to create a service request or get a status update on your current SR. Support phone numbers are listed on OracleMetaLink 3. You can also contact your Oracle sales representative for Oracle Advanced Customer Services to request assistance from Oracle's Application Expert Services.
The following guidelines must be observed on the HaleyAuthority knowledgebase in which rule statements for Siebel objects are written:
- The HaleyAuthority knowledgebase does not reside in the Siebel run-time database or in the Siebel Repository database
- The HaleyAuthority knowledgebase includes no custom concepts other than concepts that Siebel Object Importer creates
- The HaleyAuthority knowledgebase includes no custom relations or phrasings among concepts other than the relations and phrasings that Siebel Object Importer creates
- No concepts, relations, or phrasings that the Siebel Object Importer creates are deleted from the HaleyAuthority knowledgebase
