Business Components That Hold Temporary Data for a Task UI

A transient business component (TBC) is a type of business component that allows Siebel CRM to create data that the user can edit in a task-based user interface (Task UI). The data that Siebel CRM stores in a TBC is temporary. Siebel CRM uses this data during the life of the task UI typically to control the flow or logic, and then discards it when the task UI is complete.
