Associating Activity Templates with PM Plans (End User)

You can associate activity templates with a PM plan. When the PM plan is activated, activities (but not activity plans) are created using the activity template. The Due Date field on these activities is set using the date of the preventive maintenance trigger, and fields are copied from the activity template to the activities. This task is a step in Process of Managing Preventive Maintenance.

To associate an activity template with a PM plan

1. Navigate to the Preventive Maintenance screen, then the Preventive Maintenance List view.
2. Select a preventive maintenance plan, and click the Actions view tab.
3. In the Activity Templates list, create a new activity template record, and complete the fields as appropriate.
