Updating Test Plans and Test Strategies

When a new release cycle begins, some test plans and test strategies from the previous release are relevant to the new release, while some are not relevant. The QA release administrator must review existing test plans and test strategies for relevance to the new release, and update the relevant ones. The QA release manager must also identify and fill gaps in the existing resources with new test plans and test strategies.
