What's New in This Release

Table 1 lists changes described in this version of the documentation to support release 8.1 of the software.

Topic	Description
Setting Up Data Validation Rules	New topic. The data-validation rules check the reason codes and specify when an order can be revised.
Integrating Order to Cash Using AIA	New topic. It describes how to set up integration for order to cash functionality.
Taxware Adapter Business Service	Modified topic. It adds a summary of the methods used by this business service.
Canceling an Order Line Item	New topic. Users can cancel order line items.
Adding Shipping Information	Modified topic. Users can enter special instructions on shipping and packing in the Ship Instructions and Pack Instructions fields.
Checking the Status of Order Shipments	Modified topic. A read-only Back Office Error Text field in the order header shows feedback from the back office about order errors.
Placing an Order on Hold	New topic. Users can stop orders temporarily by using the Hold and Hold Reason fields in the order header.
Canceling an Order	New topic. Users can cancel orders with a status of Booked or Awaiting Shipping by clicking the Cancel Order button.

Viewing Change History for Sales Order Line Items	End users can view the change history for line items in sales orders. This existing functionality is documented for the first time in this edition of the guide.
Supplemental Order	The description of a supplemental order has been expanded.

Additionally, the guide has been updated to reflect product name changes.
