Process of Creating Portal Agents

To create a Portal Agent, perform the following tasks:

1. Determining the Login Requirements.
2. Configuring Business Components to Handle External Data.
3. Complete one of the following:
   • Displaying External Content Within an Applet.
   • Displaying External Content Outside of an Applet.
4. Defining Web Applications.
5. Defining Symbolic URLs.
6. Defining Symbolic URL Arguments.
