Spread Discount Pricing
When sales representatives apply a manual discount to the total price of an order, they can spread that discount among the line items of the order. Because products can be defined with multiple price types, spread discount pricing must consider price types. Spread discount pricing spreads the discount to one-time charges only, not to recurring or usage charges. Spread discounting performs any needed currency conversions. Users can specify the amount of the discount in a given currency. When it is spread among line items, the discount is converted to the currency in each line item.
