Configuring Thresholds for Risk Assessments


After a user completes a risk assessment for a child-welfare incident, the user clicks the Evaluate Assessment button, and the Incident Priority field changes to Urgent if the Percent field for the assessment is greater than an established threshold. Administrations can configure this threshold.

This task is a step in Process of Administering Investigative Cases.

To configure the thresholds for risk assessments

  1. Log in to Siebel Tools as an administrator.
  2. Select Workflow Process in the Object Explorer, and then select the HLS Incident Evaluate Assessment workflow.

    If you want to configure the threshold for case risk assessments, then select the HLS Case Evaluate Assessment workflow.

  3. In the WF/Task Edit toolbar, click Revise.

    The selected workflow is copied.

  4. Right-click the copied workflow record, and then select Edit Workflow Process.
  5. In the workflow diagram, double-click the Yes line to the right of the Above Threshold icon.
  6. In the Compose Condition Criteria dialog box, change the Value field from the established threshold percentage to a new percentage.
  7. Right-click the workflow diagram, and then select Validate to validate the new workflow.
  8. Deploy the new workflow to make it active.
