Monitoring Batch Processing for HTTP Indexing

The data feed for indexing is collated into index batches in the S_SRCH_CTGRY table. The number of records in each index batch is defined by the Batch Submit Size setting in the Search Engine Settings view. When the index batch is created and submitted to the Oracle Secure Enterprise Search crawler for indexing, the status column is updated in the S_SRCH_CTGRY table.

To monitor batch processing for HTTP indexing

1. Execute the following query on the S_SRCH_CTGRY table:

   select ROW_ID, NAME, SRCH_BC_NAME, FILTER_SPEC, STATUS_MSG, VIEW_NAME, STATUS_CD from <TABLEOWNER>.S_SRCH_CTGRY where NAME like 'Index Batch';

Verify the status for each index batch in the Status Code column.
