Configuring the Search Results View for Siebel High Interactivity or Siebel Open UI

The Search results view must be configured in Siebel Tools for the UI mode that your application is running in. Both the Search View and Search All Results View are activated by default. The views must be configured as follows:

• If your application is using Siebel High Interactivity, then you must disable Search All Results View.
• If your application is using Siebel Open UI, then you must disable Search View.

To configure the search results view for Siebel High Interactivity or Siebel Open UI

1. Log in to Siebel Tools.
2. In the Object Explorer, expand the Screen object.
3. Query for Search View Screen.

   The list of views is displayed in Screen Views.

4. Configure the Inactive property value as follows:
   • To use the application with Siebel High Interactivity, set the Inactive property for Search All Results View to True.
   • To use the application with Siebel Open UI, set the Inactive property for Search View to True.
5. Stop the Siebel Server.
6. Compile and deploy the repository file.
7. Restart the Siebel Server.
8. Restart the Siebel application.
