Activating Siebel Web Services

This task is a step in Process of Configuring the Environment for the Siebel Server.

To allow the Siebel back end and the Java EE front end to communicate with each, you must activate the Siebel Web services that Self-Service uses. For more information, see Siebel CRM Web Services Guide.

To activate Siebel Web services

1. In the Siebel client, navigate to the Administration-Web Services screen, and then the Inbound Web Services view.
2. In the Inbound Web Services list, make sure the status field displays Active for each of the Web services listed in the following table.

3. In the Inbound Web Services list, click Clear Cache.
