About the Siebel Sample Database ConnectString Parameter

The value of the ConnectString parameter in the [Sample] section of the application configuration files, such as uagent.cfg for Siebel Call Center (located in SIEBEL_CLIENT_ROOT\bin\enu for U.S. English), resembles the following example (all on one line). This example, for Siebel CRM version 8.1.1, assumes that the Siebel Sample Database was installed in the Siebel Mobile Web Client installation directory:

ConnectString = C:\siebel\8.1\Client_1\sample\UTF8\sse_samp.dbf -q -m -x NONE
-gp 4096 -c40m -ch60m

NOTE:  You can use the same Siebel Sample Database with Siebel Tools if you edit the ConnectString parameter in the tools.cfg file so it uses the same value. See also Using the Siebel Sample Database with Siebel Tools.
