Uninstalling ActiveX Controls

For Siebel applications that are deployed using high interactivity, if any ActiveX controls that have been downloaded to a user's computer are no longer needed, then you can uninstall them by removing them from the Downloaded Program Files directory. You might choose to uninstall the ActiveX controls if your applications are deployed using Siebel Open UI instead of high interactivity. If the user has permissions as described in Modifying User Groups or Permissions, then the applicable controls are downloaded again as they are needed.
