Reposition charts in a view

Before you begin

Open or create a view in which charts have been added. For more information, see Work with charts in the Monitoring Dashboard.


To reposition a chart in a view:

  1. Select the chart that you want to reposition.
  2. Reposition the chart in either of the following ways:
    • Drag the chart to the new position in the view. That is, click the chart and hold the mouse button down while you drag. As you drag the chart, a narrow horizontal bar is displayed that shows the position where the chart will be placed if you release the mouse button. When the chart is dragged to the location where you want it repositioned, release the mouse button.
    • Select the view menu, choose Move, and select one of the available choices: Up, Down, Left, Right, Above, or Below.

    You can position the chart above, below, to the left, or to the right of an existing chart.

Result

If you have multiple charts in the view, depending upon where in the view you reposition the chart, the selected chart, or the one immediately next to it, may be resized.
