Installing and Configuring the Email Marketing On Demand Editor
The Email Marketing On Demand editor is based on a third party tool called eWebEdit Pro, from Ektron, and uses an ActiveX control. Users must install the ActiveX control when prompted, and must set the appropriate permissions for ActiveX in Internet Explorer.
In the Zone security, for the zone where you are running the editor, do the following:
- Set Download signed ActiveX controls to either Enable or Prompt.
- Set Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins to Enable (the Prompt setting would inundate you with dialogs).
- Set Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting to Enable.
NOTE: If you do not have the editor installed, you may see a yellow bar at the top of the window, giving you the option to install it.
