Delete foreign connection factories

Note: Deleting a foreign connection factory permanently removes it from the JMS module's configuration. If you only want to temporarily stop this foreign connection factory from mapping to a remote JNDI provider connection factory, un-target its parent foreign server from all JMS servers, servers, and clusters. See:

To delete a foreign connection factory:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
  2. In the Administration Console, expand Services > Messaging and select JMS Modules.
  3. In the JMS Modules table, click the name of JMS module that contains the foreign server with the foreign connection factory you want to delete.
  4. In the module's Summary of Resources table, select the check box next to the foreign server with the foreign connection factory you want to delete.
  5. Click the Configuration > Connection Factories tab.
  6. In the resulting Foreign Connection Factories table, select the check box next to the foreign connection factory you want to delete.
  7. Click Delete and confirm the deletion.
  8. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
