Delete SNMP proxies

Note: Deleting an SNMP proxy permanently removes it from the domain's configuration. If you only want to temporarily stop WebLogic Server from forwarding requests to a proxy, delete the value in the proxy's OID root field. See Configuration Options.

To delete an SNMP proxy:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
  2. In the Administration Console, under Domain Structure, expand Diagnostics and select SNMP.
  3. On the Summary of SNMP Agents page, in the Server SNMP Agents table, click the name of an SNMP agent.
  4. On the SNMP Agent: Configuration: General page, click the Proxies sub-tab.
  5. On the SNMP Proxies page, check the proxy that you want to delete.
  6. Click Delete and confirm the deletion.
  7. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
