Oracle Enterprise Data Quality for Product Data is built on industry-leading DataLens Technology to standardize, match, enrich, classify, and correct product data from different sources and systems. For Oracle Fusion Product Hub to use Oracle Enterprise Data Quality for Product Data features, you must establish a connection between them.

Establishing Connection

After installation, use the Oracle Enterprise Manager to establish or modify the connection with the Oracle DataLens Server.

  1. Log in to an Oracle Fusion Middleware farm using Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Applications Control.

  2. Click the Farm tab.

  3. Expand the Farm_domain node.

  4. Expand the Application Deployments node and click a JavaEE application deployment, for example, ProductManagementCommonApp.

    After you select an application, the Application Deployment page displays.

  5. Click Application Deployment.

  6. Select ADF - Configure ADF Connections from the dropdown menu.

  7. Select ProductManagementApp application.

  8. Set Connection Type as Url and the Connection Name as DSAServerURL.

  9. Click Create Connection. The added connection appears under URL Connections.

  10. Under URL Connections, select Edit DSAServerURL and provide the external URL for Oracle DataLens Server.

  11. Set connections for ProductManagementCommonApp and ScmEssApp applications using step 8 to step 10.

    Restart the Oracle DataLens Server for the changes to take effect.
