Enum Constant Detail

IMMEDIATE

public static final MaterializedView.BuildType IMMEDIATE

Materialized view is to be populated immediately. This is the default.

DEFERRED

public static final MaterializedView.BuildType DEFERRED

The materialized view is to be populated by the next REFRESH operation. The first (deferred) refresh must always be a complete refresh. Until then, the materialized view has a staleness value of UNUSABLE, so it cannot be used for query rewrite.

PREBUILT

public static final MaterializedView.BuildType PREBUILT

Populated with an existing table during creation. The relationship of the contents of this prebuilt table to the materialized view's masters is unknown to the Oracle Database.

Returns an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared. This method may be used to iterate over the constants as follows:

valueOf

public static MaterializedView.BuildType valueOf(java.lang.String name)

Returns the enum constant of this type with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this type. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)

Parameters:

name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.

Returns:

the enum constant with the specified name

Throws:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException - if this enum type has no constant with the specified name

java.lang.NullPointerException - if the argument is null
