This figure shows network packets coming into the RUEI product architecture, and the user interacting with it. The RUEI product architecture consists of three parts: data collection, data processing, and data presentation. Communication between data collection and data processing is enabled through the use of log files, while communication between data processing and data presentation is enabled through open db calls. The information from the data presentation component is available to the user via three channels: reports (e-mail), Web browser, and alerting (text message, e-mail, or SNMP).
