This section discusses the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CBM investigation process workflow.
The system can send a workflow investigation request message to a responsible person or persons within the maintenance team to investigate the condition-based alert that the system receives. When the investigation is complete, the system sends an investigation completed message to the original notification recipient.
The system receives a CBM Alert that is flagged with an automated response type of 2 to create an investigation request message. You can also manually trigger an investigation request message from the Condition-Based Alerts Workbench (P1310).
The responsible person or persons within the maintenance team receive an investigation message requesting they investigate the condition-based alert that was received in the system. The message provides a link to the Condition-Based Alerts Investigation Revisions form. On this form, the recipient can record investigation notes and indicate whether or not the investigation is complete. When the investigation is complete, the system sends another message to the original notification recipient.
